Overview

Proven Technology

Vitra Multispot is a very strong green 532 nm multispot laser featuring:

  • Electronically controlled laser emission
  • Parfocal Zoom
  • Continuously variable spot size

In order to address the specific needs of each configuration, Vitra Multispot is available in 2 versions

An integrated version intended for fixed configurations

  • Dedicated laser adapter integrated into the Quantel Medical Slit Lamp
  • Parfocal zoom

A removable version intended for transportable configurations

  • Removable laser adapter compatible with Quantel Medical slit lamp, Haag Streit BM/BQ 900 and clones
  • Parfocal zoom

Multispot Pattern Scanning Laser

Multispot mode employs short pulse durations of 10 to 20ms along with a variety of customizable grid patterns (squares, lines, triple arcs, circles and single spot).

Ease of Use

A Pattern-click control wheel, an analog knob, a touch screen and a foot-switch pedal allowing an easy treatment application.

PRP in the mid periphery

Short Pulse Durations: 10-20 ms

  • Less heat diffusion to the retina and choroid
  • Less collateral damage to surrounding tissue
  • Comfortable treatment better tolerated by patients
  • Extremely fast treatment (full PRP in 2 sessions only)
  • Shorter laser sessions (compared to “classic treatments”)

Electronically Controlled Laser Emission

As opposed to continuous emission pattern lasers, Vitra Multispot does not use galvo mirrors to control pulse duration:

  • The laser beam is always perfectly centered in the fiber
  • Each laser pulse is generated and controlled by the laser itself
  • Each pattern is produced by two galvo mirrors which direct each electronically controlled laser spot

This smart technology choice ensures excellent spot-to-spot laser burn consistency.

Fluence is controlled and consistent for each spot.

Perfect homogeneity of each laser spot with Top Hat power distribution

Continuously Variable Spot Size

  • Integrated Laser Adapter (from 50 to 400μm)
  • Removable Laser Adapter (from 50 to 500μm)

Easy Laser Control

Control settings with analog knob, touch screen or hand-free via the foot-switch.

Easy Pattern Control

Control patterns (size, orientation…) with the Vitra Multispot remote click wheel on your slit lamp table.
