A modular Ultrasound platform
UBM
High-frequency
A/B-scan
The AVISO modular platform brings QUANTEL MEDICAL technology to the high-end performance level. AVISO combines a
high-quality image with unrivalled modularity in order to meet all your clinical needs.
Its modularity and scalability take performance to another level. You can therefore switch easily from a simple
10 MHz B-scan Ultrasound to a complete package that includes
high-frequency (20 MHz) probes, 25 and 50 MHz (UBM) linear probes as well as biometry.
AVISO combines the best image performance in its category with outstanding ergonomics. Its intuitive interface and simplified control panel combined with compact size and exceptional precision make AVISO
an unparalleled Ultrasound system perfectly suited to the latest ophthalmology practices.

Tailored to your needs: 7 probes*
2 LINEAR PROBES
Linear technology, developed by the innovative QUANTEL MEDICAL team, lets you view the anterior chamber in a single scan with no need for image reconstruction. The linear movement provides clear, high-precision images from the cornea to the ciliary body passing through the iridocorneal angle.
Linear 50 probe: a novel approach for specialists in Ultrasound techniques, glaucoma and the cornea
The linear 50 probe has been specially designed for:
- screening for glaucoma: dynamic examination of angles and ciliary bodies.
- fine-scale view of structures and pathologies from the cornea to the ciliary bodies.
The linear 50 probe lets you view structures located behind the plateau iris. The latest innovations have driven the development of new, easy-to-use, rapid-closure systems.
Linear 25 probe: the anterior chamber at a glance
The linear 25 delivers:
- highly detailed pre-op data on structures ranging from the cornea to the posterior lens surface
- post-op evaluation, by providing images of intraocular implants
This probe is
closed for fast, simple use, while eliminating all risks of corneal scratches. Ultrasound is the only technique that lets you view structures located behind the plateau iris.
2 HIGH-FREQUENCY PROBES AND 1 10-MHz PROBE
20 MHz probe - posterior pole: a novel field of retinal exploration
This probe has a resolution twice that of a 10 MHz probe. The 20 MHz posterior pole,
exclusive to QUANTEL, is essential for viewing anomalies of the papilla and the macula behind opaque media (a dense cataract is the best-known example). The papilla and macula cannot be viewed behind an opaque media by running an OCT on the posterior pole.
20 MHz probe - anterior chamber: a practical tool for measuring the anterior chamber
This probe has been designed to provide a global view of the anterior chamber.
10 MHZ PROBE:
- General examination of the globe and orbit
The quality of the image makes it possible to distinguish globe and orbit structures, and to perform a detailed diagnosis of several different pathologies: cataract, opacity of the vitreous body, retinal detachment, etc.
- B-scan biometer
Ideal for cases involving advanced myopia or staphyloma, it offers automatic measurement of axial length using a B-scan image.
2 BIOMETRY PROBES
- Standard biometry probe
- ProBeam for faster measurements
A product of QUANTEL technology, the ProBeam is an A-probe with built-in laser pointer. The pointer projects a light spot onto a wall or ceiling. When the patient looks at this spot with the eye that is not being measured, the Ultrasound beam lines up naturally with the patient's field of view.
